Welcome to Endless Innovation in Recruiting Technology

Recruiting technology has always been about innovation — the promise of sourcing and hiring great talent before the next guy. If, like us, you believe that hiring the best talent is of the utmost importance, then you should expect technology with a laser focus on helping you find today's greatest candidates.

Delivering on the promise of innovation moves Jobvite forward every day. What started in 2003 as a unique way to supercharge employee referrals and spread job opportunities across social networks is now a recruiting platform used by the most-demanding customers, those who expect ceaseless recruiting innovation and social connection.

Jobvite serves companies with the highest expectations of recruiting technology and candidate quality.  Companies that value an easy-to-use applicant tracking system, social grown employee referrals, and positive candidate experiences choose Jobvite.

Meet Dan Finnigan, our creative leader. His entire career has been about launching and growing Internet businesses.

What was your first job ever?
Bentley's Men's Clothing Store when I was 15 years old, sweeping the tailor's workroom, cleaning and stocking shelves, getting the salesmen food, helping customers with their bags — and whatever gofer tasks they gave me.

What do you love about Jobvite?
We are changing how companies build great teams and how people build their careers by empowering them through their social networks. The three key aspects of people's lives that most impact their happiness and satisfaction, according to research, is their family, their friends, and the work they choose. Few career opportunities enable one to help people with even one of the three.

Do you have any superpowers?
I can whistle very loudly — enough to stop a cab dead in its tracks and sometimes even make the tires screech, which is most fun in New York City.

Name one fun fact about yourself that most people might not know.
I was a drummer in a rock band while in college at UCLA. Our band, The Perfect Strangers, recorded a very early-eighties single, Betty Goes Video, and performed on campus and in clubs around LA. While my band mates liked the way I played my "kit," they did not like that I only wore boring blue jeans and plain button-down shirts to our live gigs while they dressed for the new MTV era.

What was your first job ever?

I had odd jobs as a kid and in high school, but my first real job was a bartender on a boat.  During a summer in college I was a bartender on the Star of Chicago sailing on Lake Michigan out of Navy Pier in Chicago.  It is very similar to Sprit of San Francisco or Blue and Gold cruises on SF Bay.  I learned a lot about people, business, and how to make a mean cocktail.

Why did you join Jobvite?

Jobvite has great products, great customers, and a great reputation in the market.  I wanted to be part of something great, like Jobvite!

Name one fun fact about yourself that most people might not know.
